Mahavigyan by Sri Sri 108 Mahatma Baikaldas Part -11
Eight Assortment
It is the eight organs of the human body.
Our Ashtavakra has said it, so it isn’t false. When Janaka’s court laughed at his disfigured body, Ashtavakra called them dumb as they could only see the physical body. You will find a description of it in Supra Wisdom. This is written by grace of Hanuman ji. He authorized Ramayan and He will authorize this also. I am writing this but I missed schooling due to poverty. It was difficult time; it is by God’s grace that I am writing this. The readers will understand. These organs are – 1.Ear 2.Eye 3.Nose 4.Speech 5.Hand 6.Leg 7.Sex organs and 8.Mouth, where speech resides.
Ear is discussed earlier in senses. It receives. It hears good and bad. Eyes see good and bad things. Nose determines good and foul smell. Hands lift good or bad things. Each is doing their duty. Legs serve rest of the organs. Speech has additional attributes i.e. tasting, eating, savoring, sucking, licking. These are seen by eyes, heard by ears, lifted to mouth by hands and speech tells the taste. So the work of every organ is different, described separately. The voice, eyes and the hands cannot know the real taste of sex organs because its taste is its own. As Tulsidas ji has written-
Aan kare apradh kou aan paap phal bhog Ati vichitra bhagvanti gati ko jag jaanana jog
(it appears) Someone suffers for the misdeeds of others Who can comprehend the strange ways of God
So all this is only the result of our body parts. Nobody knows its impurity and purity. All these blemishes occur by coming on the earth. We have to be good or bad on this earth. Even if you don’t do bad, merely being with the bad causes blemishes. This is the ill effect of the Kaliyug. Did Astavakraji never look at women which is prohibited for the saints of present days? Weren’t there women in former period? Of course, there were but our rishis, who are our predecessors, were not blamed because their intention was pure. It is written, since the beginning there have been these eight organs and their associated enjoyments. I will write something. These goddesses are a sure path everybody will walk. When even the Brahm is not spared, so how could we? That is written – read, ponder, understand and explain.
Organs are eight so the defects are also eight. But for the householders eight types and for the rishis seven types of satisfactions are blameless. For the saints- 1.using speech to talk of the Vedas 2.hearing by ears 3.seeing by eyes 4.touching women by hands 5. Accepting food from their hands 6.walking with the legs 7.looking at their body - are impeccant. The eight is bad – sexual satisfaction. For the saints, seven types of satisfactions and enjoyment of seven organs is impeccant. These are the substance of Vedas, speeches of saints, it is true. After understanding, this wherever you go you will be pure. If you are knowledgeable too, write the mistakes because writing is done through 36 letters. There are mistakes in all texts. Only snitchers don’t make mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes, nothing to worry about. It provides insight.
Ninth Assortment
The eight assortments are the eight organs. This is the ninth description. Tulsidas ji wrote in Ramayan. Shri Ramchandraji told this thing to Parashuram ji. Hence it is known. Read.
Dev eku gunu dhanush hamare Nav gunu param puneet tumhare
Revered one, I only have the virtue of archery You have the nine purest virtues
What are these nine virtues? That is described, read and listen. First Brahma, second Vishnu, third Mahesh. Brahman must have these. The four Vedas are also must - Samaveda, Atharvaved, Yajurveda, Rigveda. Karma and dharma should be there too. Without all these virtues, brahman is nothing. Sixteen rituals have to be performed. A brahman is empty without this knowledge. A brahman should not forget the ancestors’ duties. You must have read about the condition of Parasuram ji for leaving his duties. He killed Sahastrabahu, and then came and fought with Lakshman ji. What happened after that you have read it in Ramayan.
Ram tor bhrata badpapi Nit uth mor jalavat chhati
Ram your brother is a great sinner He is constantly causing me anguish.
The reason for this is that a brahman should not fight a war. Our epics also confirm this. A brahman must practice these four attributes- 1.forgiveness 2.kindness 3.fairness and 4. sensory control. I will describe it, listen and see. Through him Brahma creates the Vedas, and Vishnu nurtures the world. Upon fulfillment of desire, one washes the feet of the bestower. When Brahma completed the creation of this world flawlessly, got wife Saraswati and seven sons, he washed the feet of Vishnu. Brahma conserved this foot-nectar in such a way that it is still known (and used). The Ganges is the same foot-nectar but we bathe in it improperly in this era, Kaliyug. This was brought it in this world by Bhagirath to purify the sins of this world and also to purify his 60000 ancestors.
We must fulfill our duties like Brahma did. Now, under the effect of Kali brahmans have no knowledge that Parashuram had to go jungle for deviating from his duties.
Kshatriya should be as knowledgeable as Laxman was - who made Parashuram see the right path. Like Lakshaman ji, kshatriya should be fearless, reminding duties to others, and guiding the blind (Parashuram) to the right path. These days kshatriya deviate others from the right path.
