Dvaitādvaitavilaks̒anͅam Paramatattvam
The Supreme That-ness, distinct from the dual and the nondual
Advaitam kecidicchanti dvaitamicchanti cāpare Samam tattvam na vindanti dwaitādvaitavilaks̒anͅam
If the all-pervasive brilliant one is unmoving, complete, uninterrupted-- what illusion, oh the great delusion, is the conception of the dual and nondual!
Yadi sarvagato devahͅ sthirahͅ pūrnͅo nirantarah Aho māyā mahāmoho dwaitādvaita vikalpanā
If the all-pervasive brilliant one is unmoving, complete, uninterrupted-- what illusion, oh the great delusion, is the conception of the dual and nondual!
Bhāvābhāvavinirmuktam nās̒otpattivivarjitam Bhāvābhāvavinirmuktam nās̒otpattivivarjitam
Free from being and nonbeing, devoid of destruction and creation, beyond all conceptions—that is called the supreme Brahman/Expansion.
Hetudr̥ṣṭāntanirmuktam manobudhyādyagocaram vyomavijñānamānandam tattvam tattvavido viduḥ
Knowers of That-ness have spoken of That-ness which is free from cause or instance, inaccessible through mind or intellect, unending, distinct knowledge of the unending, bliss.
Abhinn S̒ivaS̒aktitattvam
The nondifference of the Shiva and Shakti principles
S̒ivasyābhyantare S̒aktiḥ S̒akterabhyantare S̒ivaḥ Antaram naiva jānīyāt candracandrikayoriva
Shakti is well within Shiva, and Shiva well within Shakti; as between moon and moonlight, no difference should be understood.
S̒ivopi S̒aktirahitaḥ S̒aktaḥ kartum na kiñcana swas̒aktyā sahitaḥ sopi sarvasyābhāsako bhavet
Shiva, too, without Shakti, is not able to do anything; with his Shakti, he, too, may be the illuminator of all --
AluptaS̒aktimānnityam sarvākāratayā sfuran punaḥ svenaiva rūpenͅa eka evāvas̒iṣyate
eternally in possession of the unsuppressed Shakti, flashing through its all-form-ness, (Shiva) again remains one alone in own form.
Akulam kulamādhatte kulam cākulamicchati Jala budbudvad nyāyāt ekākāraḥ paraḥ S̒ivaḥ
The non-kula establishes the kula within, and the kula desires the non-kula; with the same principle as the water and the bubble, the Supreme Shiva is of a single form.
Prasaram bhāsayet S̒aktiḥ sankocam bhāsayet S̒ivaḥ Tayoryogasya kartā yaḥ sa bhavet siddhayogirāṭ
Shakti is illuminated in expansion, Shiva is illuminated in contraction; one who is the effecter of their union is the lord of the adept Yogins.
Tathā tathā dr̥s̒yamānānām S̒akti sahasrānͅām ekasanghaṭṭaḥ Nijahr̥dayodyamarūpo bhavati S̒ivo nāma parama svacchandaḥ
The Shakti of a thousand (yogins) so seeing, collected in one, as the effort of his own heart, becomes Shiva of (or moved by) his own rhythm.
Sa eva vis̒vames̒itum jñātum kartum conmukho bhavan S̒akti svabhāvaḥ kathito hr̥dayatrikonͅa madhumānsalollāsaḥ
He alone, inclined to see, know, and do or create the world, is said to be of the nature of Shakti, the heart triangle, the lusty, honeyed, joy.
